Membership in the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton is available only to companies signatory to the UA67 agreement. If you are signatory to the UA/MCA agreement, work in this jurisdiction and are not participating in the activities of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton, here is what you are missing.
- Union-Management coordination on industry matters related to labour relations and affecting all employees.
- Representation on the local Labour-Management Health and Safety Committee, Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, Mechanical Trade Bargaining Committee.
- Participation in membership workshops, exceptional education programs, scholarship and bursaries for children of management employees, board and committee involvements and social events.
- Assistance in obtaining information concerning any aspect of your business operation.
- Use of facilities at Construction House, for business meetings and/or seminars.
- Membership in MCA Ontario and MCA Canada, with special privileges to MCA America and the National Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors.
- Liaison with all other City, Regional, Provincial and National bodies.
- Sponsorship as a delegate to the Provincial and National Conferences.
- Membership in the Hamilton Construction Association is encouraged in the form of a financial subsidy.
